About the VAA

The Vermont Attractions Association (VAA), founded in 1957, represents Vermont's finest family destinations. Focusing on education as a component of the visitor experience, VAA members statewide meet high standards while offering unusual experiences in the areas of agricultural tourism, art, excursions, galleries, guided tours, history, museums, recreation, shopping, and specialty foods.

The VAA annually publishes 1.1 million copies of the Official Vermont Road Map and Guide to Vermont Attractions, which is used to fulfill visitor inquiries from around the globe, as well as distributed in our Vermont's visitor markets. The VAA manages the website, www.vtattractions.org. In addition, each VAA member actively promotes other member attractions along with themselves, working together in a comprehensive distribution program, and encouraging visitors to spend additional time enjoying many Vermont attractions.

The VAA is managed by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce. Vicky Tebbetts serves as President of the VAA, as well as the Vice President of the Vermont Chamber's tourism division.
